Actor Premkumar of ‘Nenapirali’ and ‘Jothe Jotheyali’ losing ‘Prema Chandrama’ film to actor Raghu Mukerjee went on the floors on Friday morning at Kanteerava studios.

With handsome hunk Raghu Mukerjee, Rekha the ravishing actress and ‘Hage Summane’ Kiran in the triangular love story film is taken up for direction by Shahuraj Shindhe of ‘Snehana Preethina’ and ‘Arjun’ Kannada films. This is said to be a woman oriented subject in which four producers Jagadish Kumar, Ganesh, G Krishnappa, Sunilkumar Shindhe are partners running variety of businesses in real life.

‘Prema Chandrama’ according to Shindhe is a woman subject. How Rekha manages the two stars when they fall in love is the crux of the film. The protagonist Rekha is from a poor family and playing the triangular love story film is first time in her career. Raghu Mukerjee plays Navy aspirant in the first half and in the second half his role takes a different turn. Kiran plays a doctor with jovial attitude that is matured too according to him.

‘Prema Chandrama’ will be shot in Rs.2.5 crore budget in Bangalore, Mysore, Sakleshpur. Umasri, Chitra Shenoy, Srinath and one of the producers of this film Ganesh are acting in this film.
