Boycott actors who demand huge remuneration, South Indian Film Artistes Association general secretary Radha Ravi has said.

Speaking at the audio launch of the movie 'Neeyum Naanum' in Chennai Wednesday, a visibly angry Radha Ravi said, "it is time to cut down expenses in film production. But the producers have to be blamed for not doing this".

It is the producers who give huge salary to actors and run behind them. Do we need music composers to go compose tunes in abroad?, he said and added, "the producers should resolve not to sign artistes who demand huge salary and boycott them for at least a year. They will run short of offers and would come back to reality", he said.

This speech of the Nadigar Sangam secretary has raised many an eye-brow in the industry.
