After the mega success of ‘Mungaru Male’ (MM) the film makers in Kannada are catching with ‘M and M’ titles.

The producer of ‘Mungaru Male’ E Krishnappa made his second film ‘Moggina Manasu’ (MM) and his third film is also ‘Mathe Mungaru’ (MM). Now producer Keremale Badri in his first venture is obsessed with ‘MM’. In the debut direction of Veeresh Doddaballapur, the film ‘Mayadhantha Male’ – that is the beginning words of a folk song went on the floor on Thursday morning at Kadu Malleswara temple in Bangalore.

The top actress of Kannada cinema of over 100 films in Kannada and Tamil Shruthi returns to acting. As an illiterate woman in the film, Shruthi is the eye opener as she gives pep at the right time from the book of her experience in the film. Sharat Babu is the husband to Shruthi in ‘MM’ says the film is interesting, entertaining and thought provoking.

Director Veeresh Doddaballapur with a long standing experience as associate director and dialogue writer compares the rain for happiness and difficulty to ‘Maaya’ (unforeseen) in life. He has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film.

Ravi Chetan plays the doctor with good deeds; Nag Kiran, a MBA student has immensely liked the twists in the film. It is similar to Krishna Vamsi style he pointed. Bhavana Rao playing the female lead says the role is quite similar to her role in ‘Gaalipata’. Roopika is another charmer in the film who is hopeful of message and good experience for the audience.

Producer Keramalu Badri in his debut film is already up with five more scripts and wants to continue his film production even if nine of his films are flops. He was unhappy for some of the stars declining to act in his banner. “So I went for new artists”, he said.

Honnavalli Krishna the talented and experienced actor has accepted his 493rd film in which he plays only for half a day. Sihikahi Chandru, Veena Sunder, Padmaja Rao, Rekha, Ruthu, Sundarasri, Biradar, Palav Yallappa, Mugu Suresh and others are in the cast.
