Shaam has decided to try his hands at a new trade. The actor has turned a producer by floating a company called SIR. And his first venture would be ‘Agam Puram’, in which he has acted in the lead role.

Thirumalai, who has directed ‘Agam Puram’, will wield the megaphone for Shaam’s second production venture too. “After that, opportunities will be given to aspiring directors and actors,” circles close to the actor say.

Confirming this, Shaam says, “After learning cinema in my eight-year long career, I have finally started a production company to encourage budding talents. My friends and well-wishers are helping a lot in this venture of mine.”

Saying that he is getting offers from Tollywood post ‘Kick’, Shaam says, “I am choosy before signing on the dotted lines however. Interestingly, I am doing the same role in Kick’s Tamil version ‘Thillalangadi’ which has ‘Jayam’ Ravi in the lead.”
