The audio of Dr Vishnuvaradhan’s 200th film ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ was released after a simple pooja at the Sri Subramanya temple in Bangalore in a modest way. ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ directed by P Vasu is slated for release on January 22 all over Karnataka. Gurukiran has scored the music for this film ‘Aptha Rakshaka’.

Producer Krishna Prajwal had earlier planned a lavish audio release function at the Palace grounds. But the sudden death of Dr Vishnuvaradhan changed all. Now Krishna Prajwal is in consultation with the family for a big tribute to the legendary actor for his 200th film at the same venue inviting producers of the 100th, 125th, 150 and 175th films of Dr Vishnuvaradhan.

Meanwhile the audio of the 199th film of Dr Vishnuvaradhan ‘School Master’ will be released on January 10 at Le Meridian. Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, MP Cheluvaraya Swamy, Dr Jayamala, KCN Chandrasekhar, SV Rajednra Singh Babu, Rockline Vekatesh, Sa Ra Govindu, K Shivaramu and others are taking part in this Jhankar music label function. Producer of ‘School Master’ CR Manohar has invited all the top actors of Kannada cinema to this audio release. ‘School Master’ stars Dr Vishnuvaradhan and Suhasini Mani Ratnam. The film is directed by Dinesh Baboo. V Sridhar has scored the music.

On January 11 the ‘Vaikunta Samaradhane’ of Dr. Vishnuvaradhan is taking place at 10 am at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatha Kalyana Mantapa, Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi.
