Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) president Rama Narayanan made an appeal to his peers not to talk grievances and other issues related to the industry on public platforms like audio launch functions.

Speaking at the music release of ‘Kattradhu Kalavu’, a film starring Krishna and Vijayalakshmi in lead roles, in Chennai on Monday, the TFPC chief said it was not right to air problems at public functions.

He was reacting to a comment made by Film Distributors Association president Kalaipuli G Sekaran that the Producers Council should interfere and regulate the release of a large number of movies on a single week.

“We have come here to attend a function. We have come here to extend our greetings. We would discuss our problems later, that too at the Council. Let’s not make our grievances public,” he said.

Produced by ‘Pattiyal’ Sekar K K (Krishna’s father) and Chehak Kapoor for Talking Times Movies Pvt Ltd, ‘Kattradhu Kalavu’ is directed by Balaji Devi Prasad. Music is by Paul J.
