In a huge turn out of political personalities, fans and members from the Kannada film industry the top actors of Kannada cinema Jaggesh and Komal Kumar starring ÂLift Kodla Swargakke Moore Ghenu went on the floors as the Karnataka Transport Minister R Ashok sounded the clap board at Kanteerava Studios on Monday morning.
This is debut production of realtor Shankar Reddy who also happens to be active member of BJP like Jaggesh who is besides a top actor is a former MLA and currently the Vice Chairman of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation. Not even a frame in this hilarious film ÂLift Kodla will be boring assures producer Shanker Reddy.
ÂLift Kodla is partly inspired from ÂNee Shreyobilasham (that won the Nandi Award from AP government) and remaining is added afresh for the film by the director cum cameraman Ashok Kashyap. The 60 percent of the shoot will be held in the moving bus where 10 dejected persons in life are moving to different destinations to end their life. Kashyap is using Aerie 435 camera with 3 perforation technology. First schedule will be in Nandi Hills for four days and then from Bangalore to Kodachadri the maximum portion of shoot will be stored.
Siblings Jaggesh and Komal Kumar are going to give a feast from this film ÂLift Kodla is the industry expectations. Both are top comedy actors and it is a double bonanza for the audience. Jaggesh plays the protagonist in the film while his brother Komal Kumar is the dejected producer traveling in the bus. Jaggesh is extremely confident as the divergent attitudes carrying people one goal of ending life transformation is very touching to the hearts. Komal Kumar represents the state of affairs of Kannada cinema producer today and he is with a subject ÂSarvanasha to produce a film.
Bhavana, Akshara, Bullet Prakash, Sadhu Kokila, Shobaraj, Brahmavar, Rajeshwari Verma, Karthik, Jeevan and a dog is also in the supporting roles. V Manohar is doing music for three songs in which one is a theme song.
