The richly talented flaming (remember ‘Parinda’ Hindi cinema) actor of Hindi cinema Nana Patekar is making debut in Kannada cinema ‘Yaksha’ starring Yogish and Parinitha. Hearing the script and his portion of modern days ‘Parashuram’ Patekar expressed his happiness and agreed to appear for the shoot in December and January 2010.

The film ‘Yaksha’s hero father TP Siddaraju who made a super hit film ‘Dhuniya’ is producing the film in the direction of Ramesh Rao who is Ramesh Bhagavath now. When Nana Patekar was on the sets of ‘Raja Neethi’ Hindi cinema in Bhopal debutant director Ramesh explained the story and his role.

Master Hirannaiah, Atul Kulkarni, Kalabhavan Mani are also in the cast. Anoop Seelin is scoring the music. Actress Pranitha has already made debut opposite challenging star Darshan in ‘Porkhi’ (remake of ‘Pokkiri’).
