When Velu Prabakaran’s ‘Kadhal Kadhai’ was out after many stumbling blocks, it was speculated to be a dud. Unexpectedly the film managed to do a decent business without a sound. Director Velu Prabakaran who was living almost like a wanderer for almost 6 years is with his ‘Kadhal Kadhai’ has now breathed a sigh of relief. As this project became a fair show than expected the director is receiving good offers from many sides.

Velu Prabakaran planned to direct his next project, ‘Deva Dasi'- a story that happened during 16th century for JSK Film Corporation, which distributed his ‘Kadhal Kadhai’. But as the producers felt that a period film will need a lot of fund and explained it to the director, Velu Prabakaran has changed his mind now.

“People who enjoy and admire love in cinema are not happy when someone from their family falls in love. People behave like animals to wipe out love from their society. I am going to show the double face of the people in our society through my next film titled ‘Mugamoodi Koothu’,” said the director.

Though Velu Prabakaran has chosen fresh faces for his film, he will come in as an important character. Sources say that the film will be shot in and around Chennai, Rameshwaram, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. We hear that the film will have hot scenes just like ‘Kadhal Kadhai’.

As a result we must bear another ‘Kadhal Kadhai’.
