For the first time in her career, Meera Jasmine has acted in a steamy kissing scene in ‘Aadhinarayana’, claims the film’s director J Vettri Vendhan.

“We approached Meera with hesitation to act in the lip-lock scene, which is inevitable as per the movie’s script. After clearing a few doubts, she readily came forward to share the screen with newcomer Gajan,” he says.

On the movie, the director says, “movies that are close to reality are clicking in a big way as far as Tamil industry is concerned. ‘Aadhinarayana’ is one such movie that would appeal to the masses.”

‘Srikanth Deva too was inspired by the script and has done his re-recording in Yelagiri Hills, where the movie was shot. Also he has come up with five songs including one which actor Silambarasan has lent his voice to. I am sure his music would top the charts,” Vettri adds.

On his experience of sharing the screen space with Meera Jasmine in his first movie, Gajan says, “she was very co-operative. She made me comfortable before the camera and encouraged me to give my best”.
