Despite the fact that he is a Mechanical Engineering student, his spirit chose film making. He was an ad film maker during his early days and made his entry through ‘Minnale’ with Madhavan in the lead. Today Goutham Menon is a sought after director, with most of his films critically much-admired and enjoyed.

He might have given us wonderful cinemas like ‘Kaakka Kaakka’, ‘Vettayadu Vilaiyadu’, ‘Varanam Aayiram’ and more, but one of his early works stayed unsaid for long. We see that the long wait is over now, and Goutham is ready for his next venture after ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’. This time it is going to be that unsaid script which he wrote almost when he was 19. Wonder what kind of plot must have inspired Goutham in his teens!

We heard that this new project with that old story is titled as ‘Azhagiya Kuyile’. It’s also buzzed that ‘Azhagiya Kuyile’ will have ‘Varanam Aayiram’ girl Sameera Reddy in the lead. Looks like ‘Azhagiya Kuyile’ will be a script inspired by a real life incident though nothing about the script is confirmed by the director.

Emmm… it’s worth waiting for Goutham’s product, right folks?
