Actor Sammir Dattani, who made his debut with ‘Uff Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai’ can take a deep breath now for having signed the biggest deal he dreamt about. In spite of acting in many films on row, cute-charming chap Sammir was despaired of not getting big offers. Finally, after 5 years of ardent struggle Sammir had his relief through Karan Johar.

The actor will play lead role alongside Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor in Dharma Production’s forthcoming film ‘I hate love stories’. With Karan Johar laying hands on this project as a producer, Punit Malhotra nephew of costume designer Manish Malhotra wields the megaphone.

Sammir, who shot to fame for his spellbinding performance in ‘Mukbhir’ is limitlessly gleeful for being roped into this film as he believes it would offer him big break. This triangular love-story is about Sammir and Sonam fallen in love and the story takes a great turn as Imran Khan comes along and falls in love with Sonam. Manish Malhotra designs costumes for the actors and already started working on it.

With the film’s shooting ready to hit the floors by November, Sammir has completed shooting Shyam Benegal’s next film featuring him with Minissha Lamba and Boman Irani. Also he has signed for a horror film titled ‘8’ produced by Percept Company.
