Real star crown Upendra’s ‘Dubai Babu’ and Black Cheetah on Kannada screen Vijay’s ‘Thakkath’ are competing in the box office on this Friday with change in timing of cinema halls in Bangalore.

A remake of ‘Dubai Seenu’ is ‘Dubai Babu’ the third combination of producer Shailendra Babu, actor Upendra and director Naganna is expected to hit a hat trick in the box office. The earlier two of the same combination Kutumba and Gowramma were money spinner for producer Shailender Babu. In ‘Dubai Babu’ Nikitha and Saloni are the counterparts for Upendra. Kumar Govind is back after a long time in Kannada cinema. Rajesh, Dwarakish, Umesh, Surya Pallakki are also in the cast.

In 50 plus theatres ‘Dubai Babu’ is releasing and the premier for industry and media is arranged on Thursday at Kapali theatre.

Vijay is showing his ‘Thakkath’ meaning strength this week. Like how Upendra has a super hit ‘Budhivantha’ as his previous film the action hero Vijay also given a hit in ‘Junglee’ for Rockline Productions. He is now for 24 Frames BV Pramod and Gudibande Naidu.

In 45 plus centers ‘Thakkath’ is releasing and Vijay is paired with Shuba Punj for the third time. Srinivasamurthy, Nanda, Rangayana Raghu, Shobaraj, Kashi, Veena Sunder, Satyajith, Malathi Sardeshpande are also in the cast of this M.S. Ramesh directorial venture. Ramesh has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film.
