Two veteran artist heirs Krishne Gowdas son, Muralidhar in Anjadhiru and actor cum director Kashinath son, Alok in Baaji are in the middle of the contention at the box office this week.
Alok, the six foot tall and good looking hero is the son of veteran actor cum director Kashinath, who created a rage 30 years ago with the Kannada film Aparichitha. Kashinath is known for comedy films with social messages. He is known as the Bhagiyaraj (Tamil actor and director) of Kannada cinema.
Shidlaghatta Srinivas is director of this film Baaji which translates as Bets. Sri Panchamukhi Creations Baaji has music from GR Shanker and cinematography from Srinivas Sanklapura. MS Ramesh has written the punch dialogues. Raani is the heroine with the supporting cast formed by Ananthnag, Rangayana Raghu, Kishore, Layendra and Santosh.
In Anjadhiru, Muralidhar a techie is playing an important role and the film is the remake of Anjadhe in Tamil. Prashanth and Shuba Punj are in the lead with Krishne Gowda, Dwarakish, Ravi Kaale, Srinivasamurthy, Avinash, Mukyamantri Chandru in the supporting cast.
