Shakthi, son of director P Vasu, is keen to reach out to the masses. A young actor, who chooses his films with great caution, says, 'my 'Thottal Poo Malarum' gave me an identity. 'Magesh Saranya Mattrum Palar' took me to the family audience. Hopefully, my next 'Ninaithale Inikkum' would bring me close to the youngsters and college students'.

'Ninaithale Inikkum' is a remake of Malayalam flick 'Class Mates', which was a big hit in Kerala. Acting with Shakthi is Prithviraj, Vanam Vasapadum 'Karthi' among others.

"In Bollywood and Malayalam film industry, the multi-starrers are very common. I wonder why it's is a taboo in Tamil cinema', he says and adds 'Ninaithale Inikkukm would be a movie for the youth. We have no ego acting together.'

On Bhagyaraj acting in the movie, he said, 'I was thrilled to share screen space with him. He enjoyed watching us on the sets. It was a great delight working in the movie'.
