Manohar honor mentors

The simple and humble music director of Kannada cinema V.Manohar (also lyricist, cartoonist and director of Oh Mallige and Indhradhanush Kannada films) on the occasion of reaching 100th film in music direction of Kannada film 'Neenyare' on last Tuesday evening honored his two mentors veteran Kashinath with whom he stayed for five years in the beginning of his career and music Guru Hamsalekha for teaching the right attitudes in music. V.Manohar also honored super star Upendra, Shankanadha Aravind and Yatish Alva on this occasion who have been instrumental in his growth.

'I am not having big dreams'. I want to keep on doing quality work in films said Manohar after he received the felicitation from the team of 'Neenyaare' headed by producer Varada Reddy and director Sindesh.

I have given a place for Manohar. He learnt on his own and reached the 100 mark. He is the first one to reach this record from my team said veteran actor, director and producer Kashinath. Actor Upendra recalled that it is only because of Manohar he has been able to become a writer in cinema. The national acclaimed music director Hamsalekha complimented Manohar for the novel approach he gave for his music and lyrics.

The audio cassette and CD is brought out by reputed Lahari Recording Company. The managing director of Lahari Mr Thulsiram Naidu alias popularly known as Velu went to flashback and said the first album of music director Manohar and the 100th of Manohar is brought out by his audio company.

There are eight songs in 'Neenyaare' Kannada film album. Sonu Nigam, KK, Chitra, Kunal Ganjawala, Hemanth, Madhu Balakrishna, B.R.Chaya have lent their voice for the lyrics of Kaviraj, V.Manohar and Sindesh.
