Director A Venkatesh is the man of the moment in Kollywood these days. He is directing five films simultaneously in Kollywood at the moment. 'Vaa Da' starring Sundar C, 'Killadi' with Bharath, 'Durai' with Arjun and a couple of other big ventures.

Known for his racy commercial narration, the director says, 'A director can easily reach out to the audience if he comes out with masala flicks. At the same time, he won't get the due respect, for making run-of-the-mill kind of films. However, these are the kind of projects that help a producer earn profits.'

On his forthcoming films, he says, ' In 'Vaa da', I am working with Sundar C for the first time. It is an action thriller, where a suspense element will unfold in the second half. 'Durai' will be an unusual film from Arjun. He fights against a system of injustice. 'Killadi' is a rural flick with Bharath and Nila in lead roles. This film too is loaded with mass elements.'
