Yet another laugh riot is churned out by promising director the bubbling actor Ramesh Aravind. In the second directorial venture 'Sathyavan Savithri' actor cum director Ramesh Aravind has taken inspiration from a French play 'Fear De Cactus' that was written by Perry Grady 47 years ago. Based on this 'All the Time' was made in Hollywood. This was staged for more than 1300 shows also. In 1969 this was made as 'Cactus Love'. This is the first French comedy play that crossed the seven oceans and became very popular says Ramesh. A portion of it was kept in 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' block buster Hindi film. Ramesh Aravind appeared at the media meet in full suit after the simple muhurut of the film at 'Sriraha' in Jayanagar 5 th block in Bangalore on Monday morning.
'I am responding to the popular call from the distributors that a comedy film like 'Rama Shama Bhama' is needed'. The dialect will be in Mandya style of Kannada. Komal speaks Kannada in Mandya style. Dr Kamal Hassan spoke in Hubli style of Kannada in 'Rama Shama Bhama' the runaway hit Kannada film remembered Ramesh Aravind. The first half of the film will be on the lines of Kannada plays 'Huli Banthu Huli' and 'Cindrella'. The second half is loaded with lot of humor says Ramesh Aravind smilingly. There are two 'Savitris' and one 'Asathyavan' Â A is hidden in the title disclosed Ramesh in his usual super fast style. There is a reference to the mythological story of 'Satyavan Savitri'. Yama comes in a comic scene. One of the two Savitri's save me from death added Ramesh.
Daisy Boppanna, Jennifer Kothwal, Mohan, Anirudh, Komal are the other lead artistes in the film. This is a full length comedy a real treat once again. The shooting will be held in two months duration in and around Bangalore. He is retaining the technical crew of 'Rama Shama Bhama' in this film. There will be very good scope for performance of artistes in this film.
After this Ramesh Aravind is taking up a film titled as 'Accident' in the month of April. As a matter of fact he wanted to start 'Accident' first. But the gap of two months made him to take up the ready subject that is 'Sathyavan Savitri'.
Rajendra Karanth has added the additional stuff to the 15 blocks of the French play and made it look more like 'Desi'. Uttering too much lies is bad the film concludes says Karanth.
Pal Chandani the leading distributor is pumping the money for this film. He has made films in Kannada such as 'Ananthana Avanthara', 'Ajagajanthara' and 'Bisi Bisi'. 'Bisi Bisi' did not work out at the box office informed Pal who likes to laugh in professional and personal life. Laughing is the best medicine for life. I don't like serious stuffs on screen said respected producer and distributor Pal Chandani sitting next to Ramesh Aravind.
