Raja, who became famous with the tremendous success of 'Anand', is now going to play the hero in a film being directed and produced by Priyadarshan Ramireddy.

The shooting of the film was started at EVV Satyanarayana's guest house in Film Nagar on January 22.

The speciality of the film is that Kannada artiste Upendra, who played hero and earned critical acclaim for films like 'A and Upendra' is playing a negative role in this film. It is reliably learnt that Kamna Jethmalani and Priyamani are playing the heroines.

Raja says, 'The film would be a different movie for me and I am sure that it would bring a sea change in my entire career.'

Producer of the film says, 'We will start the regular shooting soon and complete it as per the schedule. It is very happy that Kannada star Upendra had given his nod to do the negative role in our film.'
