Canning of a song for 'Annavaram' directed by Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao, presented by RB Choudary and jointly produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain on the banner of Megaa Super Good Films with Pawan Kalyan and Asin in the lead is in progress.

It may be mentioned here that the film is based on a successful Tamil film 'Tirupachi' which had brother-sister sentiment in its backdrop and Sandhya of 'Premiste'-fame is playing the sister's role.

Ramana Gogula gave melodious tunes to all the songs and the audio was released into the market on December 14 and the audiocassettes were sold like hotcakes.

It is learnt that some of the songs were canned under the direction of popular Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Patro.

The producers say, 'We have used very sophisticated and modern cameras and spent crores of rupees to choreograph the songs. We are sure that the melody in songs and their excellent picturisation would bring the repeat audiences to the theatres.'

The film is slated for release on December 29.
