The Kannada film 'Thananam Thananam' entered into an agreement with the 90 years old Karnataka Soaps and Detergents limited for the promotion of the film and the Herbal Care soaps of the KSDL. KSDL has agreed to give Rs.8 lakhs as payment to producer of Thananam Thananam for taking the products of KSDL to various places through the film. At the function to release the Herbal Care bath soap at KSDL premises on Thursday evening Gnanapeeth award winner Girish Karnad, Bharathi Vishnuvardhana released the new product of KSDL. The Managing director of KSDL Mr Perumal lauded the interest shown by producer N.M.Suresh and his team. Girish Karnad in his speech admitted that he uses only KSDL products in his house.

Director of repute Kavitha Lankesh speaking on this occasion informed that the film 'Thananam Thananam' is very happy to associate with KSDL product as both film and company are culturally of high quality. KSDL is serving the consumers who are culture loving people since 90 years and Thananam Thananam is a film for all culturally of high quality she opined.

Music director of the film 'Thananam Thananam' K.Kalyan was also present at the function.
