The lavishly made Rs.3 crore 'Ganda Hendathi and a Boy Friend' with strong shades of Hindi film 'Murder' has been given the 'A' Certificate by the local censor board in Bangalore. The censor board chief Chandrasekhar has liked at the outset the importance of the film and appreciated the attempt of producer Shailendra Babu.

In this 10th venture producer Shailendra Babu selected new faces for the cast. Thilak, Sanjana, baby Sanchali are fresh faces on silver screen from this film. Ace journalist Ravi Belegere of 'Hail Bangalore', television top actress Manju Bashini, Vishal Hegde play important role in this romantic murder mystery film 'Ganda Hendathi' all set for release in the end of this month.

Ravi Srivatsa of 'Deadly Soma' is heading the megaphone while Gurukiran picks the two tunes from the original 'Murder' film in Kannada. H.C.Venu and Mathew are two who share credit for cinematography.
