'Make hay while the sun shines' - this saying must be on the top of the minds of the makers of 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye', especially the T-Series bosses. Otherwise how else could one describe the surprise creation of a new title song of the movie, this time with Himesh Reshammiya at the helm?
Yes, you read it right. Around a month after the music of 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye' was released, a new track has been composed, sung and picturised in a jiffy with the hottest craze in the industry, Himesh Reshammiya, being assigned the responsibility. The music video of the number is out too that features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif along with a horde of background dancers. Written by Sameer and sung by Himesh Reshammiya along with Tulsi Kumar, Late Gulshan Kumar's daughter, the number has a pensive undertone, especially in the way it has been picturised and choreographed.
While Akshay Kumar is shown tense and deeply in love, Katrina is shown swaying away in the background while making quite an impression in her trademark costumes. The only other surprise about the video is the absence of Himesh Reshammiya with a mike close to his face. But one's guess is that with one superstar [Akshay Kumar] around, you don't need any other sharing the frame!
Prashant Chaddha, who is now fast making news for his music videos, is the person behind this promotional track as well as he has been entrusted the responsibility of designing the overall video concept. With Reshammiya brand name itself selling like hot cakes in the music industry too, one is sure that when the fresh stock of the album hits the stands with this song as an added attraction, it is certainly going to boost the current average-to-above average sales of the album.
Meanwhile one wonders what does the original composer of the album, Anu Malik, has to say about the entire turn of events with an added composer to the film in the last moment?
