Puneeth Rajkumar and Anuradha Mehta starring 'Ajay' for producer Rockline Venkatesh is briskly shooting in Kodandarampura in Bangalore in a specially erected set. Meher Ramesh who directed 'Veera Kannadiga' of Puneeth is directing this film. He says each frame in the film leads to climax. And there are three important situations that look like climax in the film said Meher Ramesh. Nazer and Sumitra play Puneeth parents while highest paid character artiste Prakash Rai plays the similar role what he had done in Telugu original. Prakash Rai arrived in the evening flight from Chennai and took part in the climax shoot on last Wednesday (1 st March).

The songs for 'Ajay' will be shot in Australia. In the places like Chitradurga, Hubli, Dharwad, Tumkur, Thippagondanahalli, Vizag, Hyderabad and Arakku valley the shooting was done. In Tamil 'Okkadu' was made as 'Gilli' and it is 'Ajay' in Kannada said senior producer Rockline Venkatesh. He remembers the statement he made after watching 'Okkadu'. It would definitely bag awards he opined. It has happened so. 'Okkadu' has bagged eight awards in Andhra Pradesh. This is a precious project in Kannada for my banner because the two versions in Telugu and Tamil are super hit said Rockline Venkatesh. The audio release of 'Ajay' is taking place at Hubli in a grand scale added Rockline Venkatesh.

I am working with great actors like Prakash Rai and Nazer for the first time. I was moved by the affection shown by the people of Chitradurga, Hubli, Dharwad and other places. They have extended good support for the film said Puneeth. The script and making of this film is different in my career. Apparently Puneeth had seen only half of 'Okkadu' before accepting this film for prestigious banner of Rockline productions added Puneeth.
