It's official now. Silambarasan's Saravana will grace theatres this Pongal. Directed by K S Ravikumar, Saravana is a remake of the Telugu movie Bhadra.

Quite like in his earlier venture Thotti Jaya, Silambarasan reportedly locked horns with producer Amudha Durairaj over his remuneration. Reports say that he has taken over the movie and would distribute the same now.

Apparently annoyed at a huge sum demanded by Silambarasan as salary, the producer has moved out of the movie and the mantle of releasing the movie has fallen on Silambarasan.

Silambarasan is keen to have the film released on Pongal day.

After Kalaipuli S Thanu, its now Amudha Durairaj to face some harsh music.
