As days progress, excitement around Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Eklavya' [earlier titled Yagna] is creating widespread excitement.

With the backdrop of 'Eklavya' being a royal family in Rajasthan, one of the most striking factors of the movie is its cast and crew, which is practically the same as in Parineeta. Just have a look - the movie has everyone from Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan to Raima Sen.

To top it all, VVS has roped in Big B to play the title role. In addition the movie also stars Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani and Sharmila Tagore.

Even the crew is same with Shantanu Moitra and Swanand Kirkire returning to handle the music and lyrics department while Nataraja Subramanian continuing to be the cinematographer.

So where does all this leave Pradeep Sarkar, the director of Parineeta? Well after assisting VVC in Mission Kashmir, he returns back to be the Assistant Director for Eklavya as well!
