Award winning actress Priyanka Nair who got married in 2012 to director Lawrence Ram has filed for divorce. She and her father has charged four complaints against Lawrence. The charges are publicizing her private photos, mishandling her social networking page, etc. Along with these, another reason for their split is Lawrence's attitude against Priyanka continuing her acting career and also his spiraling career.

Priyanka has tied the knot with Lawrence after a brief romance. They had soon shifted to Chennai. Priyanka came back home for her delivery in 2013 and has stayed back since then. The actress who is on a comeback trail had received positive responses for her role in 'Kumbasaram'. She had been very selective about the roles she does and has acted in only around 16 films thus far. She had won the Kerala State Film Award for her role in 'Vilapangalkappuram'.
