It seems Bollywood is inventing new villains. Bored after the regular villains like Danny, Kiran Kumar, Anupam Kher, Shakti Kapoor or Prakash Raj and the mad race among Bollywood heroes to don the Negative` roles, remember Shah Rukh Khan in DARR, Aamir Khan in DHOOM 3, Sanjay Dutt in AGNEEPATH, Akshay Kumar as Dawood Ibrahim in ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI 2 etc. It`s film director`s turn to display their menace.
After filmmaker Karan Johar winning huge applause for his superlative first look as dreaded villain Kaizad Khambatta in Anurag Kashyap directed Bombay Velvet, latest news is that eminent filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has been fascinated by the villain`s character and has signed south sensational filmmaker AR Murugadoss`s (who directed Aamir Khan`s GHAJINI) next Bollywood film that also stars Sonakshi Sinha.
Confirming the news Anurag Kashyap said, "Yes, I have been offered the role but I have still to give my nod.
It may be noted Anurag Kashyap is suppose to play a Bhojpuri villain in the film for which Anurag will also go bald to give a menacing look.
AR Murugadoss latest flick is actually a remake of his Tamil hit film MOUNA GURU that featured Arulnithi and Iniya in the lead roles. The film was such a huge hit in Tamil that it was remade in Kannada as GURU (2012) and in Telugu as SANKARA (2013). Now AR Murugadoss is trying to repeat the same success in Bollywood!
