According to the censor guidelines the release date of the film should be announced only after the film is certified. While some of the producers announce the date as tentative, here is Kotigond Love Story` becoming target of Regional Censor Board.

KLS eager to come before Valentine Day announced date of release as 13th February. As a matter of fact the censor certificate has not finally landed the hands of producer HLN Raj and director Jaggu Sirsi.

What is the reason for delay in sanctioning certificate for KLS? The reason is one hot song Mouna Muridu.....between Shuba Punja and Rakesh Adiga – the photographs of this has made wide talks already.

Producer HLN Raj wants to retain this song as it is opening song of the film. Regional Censor office wants to give A` certificate especially for this song. A` certificate means it would not bring the audience to the theatres is general feel. The television right later also becomes a problem.

In the first round of discussion with producer and director the regional censor board has given 15 cuts. When such cuts are applied the purpose of the song is defeated says Raj.
