Another big budget movie in the first time combination of Puneeth Rajakumar and Pawan Wodeyar (of Govindayanamaha, Googly) Rana Vikrama` has completed fifty percent of shooting as of now. Director Pawan is on victory mood with top actor and humble Puneeth Rajakumar to his side. Pawan considers this as his first innings. In Bengaluru Metro train and Hampi Talavara, Thungabhadra banks he has done shooting despite of massive crowd who come to see the shooting.

Talkie portions and a few songs at Hampi, Mangalore would make it fifty days. It is 22 days of shooting in historical place Hampi. Some more shoot in Bellary and one schedule in London the shooting would finish in 80 days says Pawan Wadeyar. He has made use of sculptures of Hampi in his films. A set was erected on the banks for the shoot of Rana Vikrama`.

The protagonist is a college student and the twists and turns are part of his life. The heroine introduction is done at Metro Train. There are eight action portions. Sudha Belawadi, Ashok, Avinash and some looking like Anglo Indians are part of this films besides Vikram Singh as villain.

Rana Vikrama` is slated for release in January 2015.
