This has obviously hurt Shivaramanna the 'Ajathashatru' of Kannada cinema and Pooja Gandhi poor knowledge of Kannada cinema industry has also surfaced. The reason behind this telephonic conversation is alleged showing of doyen of Kannada cinema director SR Puttanna Kanagal in poor taste in the film 'Abhinetri' of Pooja Gandhi that is flooded with controversies.

Speaking at the 'Maneyangaladalli Mathukathe' the veteran of Kannada cinema industry Shivaramanna said he would not allow the film to release in case there is poor showcase of the doyen of Kannada cinema. I know Puttannaji better than anyone living today in the Kannada cinema industry said the septuagenarian Shivaramanna.

There is an array of actors and technicians who took shelter to fame from Puttanna Kanagal films. This includes even Tamil super star Rajanikanth who acted in 'Katha Sangama' in the direction of Puttanna Kanagal.

Meanwhile it is stated that Atul Kulkarni is projected as Puttanna Kanagal in the film. However the bedroom scene hot photos of Atul Kulkarni and Pooja Gandhi are pointing wrongly.
