The award show for a prime TV network took place over the weekend and with the popularity of the show increasing every year; it has become a brand value to many. Over the course of the show, director Ram who brought National awards through the film “Thanga Meengal” questioned the criteria on which awards bring forward the nomination as the song “Ananda Yazhai” which won the National awards did not find a place even for nomination here.

Similarly it was also noticed that Baby Sara won the award previously for her role in Deivathirumagal, however Sadhana did not find a place in nomination this time. Eventually through the end of the show, the movie “Thanga Meengal” did win the best movie in the category and the director made Yuvan proud by dedicating him the award. Well, lessons learnt indeed!
