Actor Vijay Sethupathi was supposed to turn a producer with a film titled Sangudevan` and he also developed a handle bar mustache for the role he will be donning in the film. Unfortunately the film failed to materialize.

However the 'Soodhu Kavvum' star is currently producing a film titled Orange Mittai`. Speaking about the film in a recent interview, Vijay Sethupathi has said that the film has Soodhu Kavvum` Ramesh and Aarumugam who played the cleaner role in Pannaiyarum Padminiyum` in central characters while he plays the role of a 55 year old man.

Revealing details about the story the actor has said “life is a mixture of sweet and bitter moments and the plot of the film has been built upon this concept. The film revolves around the incidents happening in two days in the life of a patient. The film is being directed by debutante Biju Viswanath”.

Surprising news to the fans is that Vijay Sethupathi dons the writer`s role in his maiden production venture. He will be penning the dialogues for Orange Mittai`.

Apart from Orange Mittai` Vijay Sethupathi is acting in Mellisai` Vanmam`, Idam Porul Eval` and Purambokku`.
