It is another fine combination happening via ‘Shiva Linga’ as title in Kannada filmdom. It is stalwart director P Vasu, century star Shivarajakumar and disciplined producer KA Suresh joining together for the first time.

With this director of Aptha Mithra, Aptha Rakshaka and the recent ‘Drishya’ P Vasu is taking up second generation of actor from Dr Rajakumar family. P Vasu co- directed Dr Rajakumar in ‘Guri’ in 1986 and now in 2014 he is directing a popular hero Shivarajakumar in ‘Shiva Linga’ for producer K A Suresh who has no failure so far in his film production. In Tamil P Vasu directed Dr Shivaji Ganeshan and his son Shivaji Prabhu – two generation of actors.

Back in Kannada after ‘Drishya’, P Vasu is taking up original subject for producer KA Suresh of ‘Eradane Madhuve, Govindayanama and Shravani Subramanya’. In fact KA Suresh is hat trick producer and Shivarajkumar is a hat trick hero. For P Vasu more than 35 of his films were hits having crossed the 100th day mark, while more than a dozen are super hits having surpassed the 25 weeks mark.

Meanwhile producer KA Suresh is announcing this film on July 12, birthday of Shivarajakumar and taking up soon after. Suresh heard four scripts after super hit of ‘Shravani Subramani’ starring golden star Ganesh and Amoolya and finalized on this P Vasu and Shivarajakumar combination.
