'Cigarette' on Ill Effects

On the anti tobacco day (May 31st) two doctors – Dr Divyasri of People Tree Foundation and Kr Pramod of Kidwai gave a call for all those who are having the habit of smoking to give up immediately for good health.

Dr Divyasri was speaking at Badami House at the ‘Cigarette’ Kannada film promo and trailer launch. 70 percent of smokers have intentions giving up cigarette but they are not able to do so. Such people can come to People Tree Foundation for support she stated. Dr Pramod of Kidwai Oncology pointed how severe is the effect of smoking.

‘Cigarette’ Kannada film with a caption ‘Cigarette Sedbedi, Priti Madbedi’ is from two hit films director Lucky Shanker in Shiv Shanker Film Factory. Shiv Kabbin is producer of his third film. 90 and Devaraane were good hits in the past.

Nagashekhar for the first time in lead role as hero was surprised when the offer came to him. He gave up cigarette to act in ‘Cigarette’ Kannada cinema. In the film Roopasri smokes stated Nagshekhar a hat trick director. This is a commercial film having powerful message and the film is also powerful he says.

Roopasri remembered the campaign she participated in the college days on quit smoking. When the film offer came, I was thrilled to do it she says on the intense character. Rakshita Ponnamma says in her debut film there are so many good things.
