It is well known that Lingusamy is producing a film with legendary actor Kamal Haasan for the first time. ‘Uttama Villain’ that has the Padma Bhushan actor playing dual roles apart from writing the script is being produced by Lingusamy’s home banner Thirrupathi Brothers and directed by Kamal Haasan.

Lingusamy has directed many stars like Mammooty, Ajith, Vikram, Suriya and Arya but he is yet to direct the two doyens of Tamil cinema namely Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Before the commencement of ‘Uttama Villain’ there was talks that the ‘Paiyya’ director will be directing Kamal in his home production venture but the things took a different turn.

However in an exclusive interview to Indiaglitz, the acclaimed director cum producer has said that he has narrated a script to Kamal and waiting for the right time to remind him about that.

Now even the fans will be waiting with bated breath for that ‘right time’.
