Chali Gayi Chandini…was the song of her debut film ‘A’ in one of the lines. Now she returns to acting in Kannada after 12 years. The actress with terrific record in academics – a doctorate degree Chandini was at Sony Entertainment distribution head and professor at Manipal Group of College.

Born in Africa, brought up in Mysore and found cinema career in Bengaluru via Kannada films and Bhojpuri films after ‘Deepavali’ Kannada cinema with Dr Vishnuvardhana and Ramesh Aravind this charming Chandini preferred to keep away from films. She performed opposite Shivarajakumar in block buster ‘AK 47’.

Dr Chandini is female protagonist in ‘Khaidi’ Kannada cinema. The similar title film was made 30 years ago. The release of olden days ‘Khaidi’ recently by fans of Dr Vishnuvardhana got good results in the box office.

In the new ‘Khaidi’ Dhanush of Psycho and Namasthe India is in lead. How a common man with error in the system becomes ‘Khaidi’ is the crux of the film. Psycho producer Gurudut is director of the film. He has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Jastin and Uday are scoring music for five songs. Two of the songs will be shot in European countries.
