Taking his trademark to introduce freshers through his ventures, Dharma Productions’ head and filmmaker Karan Johar is set out to launch a newbie soon.

And the newcomer is question is none other than the darling elder daughter of evergreen actress Sridevi. Buzz is that KJo is planning to make a film, which will be screen debut of seventeen year old Jhanvi Kapoor.

While both her parents - Sridevi and Boney Kapoor - want Jhanvi to complete her studies before she jumps onto the filmy bandwagon, Karan Johar feels that this is the right time for the young one to enter Bollywood. It seems he is also look out for a new hero to have a fresh pairing with Jhanvi. Already offers seems to be pouring in for the beautiful looking girl - for instance Jhanvi is being considered for a Telugu Ram Charan Teja movie. But mom Sridevi apparently is more at ease with Karan Johar being Jhanvi’s first mentor and launch pad.

Well, it was KJo who launched the cute and happening Alia Bhatt in his ‘Student of the Year. And looks has moved his focus towards this new student, Jhanvi. Hmmm will Alia have any sad feelings?
