The film in the combination of super star Upendra and director Srinivasa Raju that was in the controversy from the day the first poster of the film was released finally registered as ‘Shivam’.

It was first thought of ‘Basavanna’ and religious heads were strictly opposite to such a title. Then it was ‘Brahmana’ and even that title also with costumes and properties next to Upendra disturbed many.

Upendra himself at ‘Brahma’ meet stated the title is ‘Basavanna Brahmana Alla’. Now everything has changed and at KFCC director Srinivasaraju lavish film registered the title ‘Shivam’ for his film. CR Manohar producer of two Kannada films and 100th film of Telugu actor Srikanth is investing several crores on this Kannada project.

Shooting in Turkey, Thailand, Istanbul, Cyprus, Anatolia and other places the team has arrived to Bangalore.

Super star Upendra is in three shades in this film. A priest, underworld and stylish get up with sentiment, action and romantic moods ‘Shivam’ is getting ready for post production work.

Lovely looking Ragini and Saloni are counterparts to Upendra in this film. Prasad is cameraman.
