'Shivajinagara' 250 Screens

A film with six action portions and five songs ‘Shivajinagara’ in which action hero Duniya Vijay is in Hindu and Muslim get up is all set for release on Mahashivarathri Day in over 250 screens. Parul Yadav successful heroine of Kannada films is female lead.

Daniel Balaji makes his first appearance and so is Aditya Menon as cop. Producer Ramu not only known for taking challenges and investing huge money on his products but he is also known for disciplined work without wastage. No wastage is what he says his directors. Sathya explained 20 days shoot done in Shivajinagara locality was held with police protection. The film has sentiments and a child episode has made actor Vijay to collect tears when the story was narrated to him. The censor has said action is more; it has cut of two dialogues and given ‘A’ certificate.

Producer Ramu ‘Shivajinagara’ now is a full length commercial film. He made ‘Kalasipalya’ in the past. Success result should go to Sathya and Vijay he says. In Shivajinagara the thick Muslim locality area he is releasing the film in two theatres Lavanya and Anand. I have lot of Muslim friends coming to my office asking for the film he remembered.

Vijay profusely thanked producer Ramu and Sathya as they did not care for wrong things fed to ears. They did not let me down. This is an entertainment action comedy film he says.

The first full length heroine role has come to Parul Yadav from ‘Shivajinagara’. She was in Govindayanamaha, Nandisha and Bachchan Kannada films. She had a song number in ‘Shravani Subramanya’. As heroine she has opening song Rangeela….in this film. She is a Brahmin girl a traditional one. Vijay is very decent and humble – he is a live example she says.
