Finally opening about his new family member, Shah Rukh Khan recently at an event stated that the entire much-hyped baby issue was a "personal and confidential" matter for him.
The King Khan and wife Gauri was recently blessed with baby boy through surrogacy.
Remarked SRK, "It is a personal and confidential matter... it is a mix of happiness and sadness. I request the authorities concerned to continue to enthusiastically investigate about my baby." According to sources, the boy is named is Abram.
Born on May 27 at Andheri's Masrani Hospital for Women, the baby reported to have been premature and weighed 1.5kg - owing to which the baby had to spend nearly seven weeks being shifted from Masrani to Nanavati Hospital, then at Breach Candy and finally to Mannat, SRKs house. It was only after a month long delay that BMC officials got these reports. Meanwhile sparks set off as health officials questioned as to how the family came to know about the childs sex since gender testing is banned in the country under the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Technique (PCPNDT) Act.
When asked about these matters, SRK in his typical tongue-in-cheek style stated to media, "Get over it. Get on the train baby, and not my baby. Will talk about all this later." The superstar was targeted with questions by media regarding his baby, at the recently held music launch of his forthcoming Rohit Shetty's film 'Chennai Express', starring Deepika Padukone.
Back home, the Khan family are planning to host a celebration ceremony as a mark to welcome the baby. And SRK has even planned to hold a formal press conference to make official announcement about his third child.
