‘Satya’ when it was released on July 3, 1998 created history and names like Satya, Bhiku Mhatre and Kallu Mama became household names. The then glamour queen Urmila Matondkar was also established as a serious heroine with that film.

And now, its director Ram Gopal Varma is planning to release the first look of the second instalment of ‘Satya’ the day the cult film completes 15 years.

Only few months ago the first look trailer of the sequel was released, which went on to grab good response. The second instalment of ‘Satya’ - called ‘Satya 2’ is slated to be a refreshing take on what the status of the underworld is today. The story of ‘Satya 2’revolves around a young man who is set out to reinvent the ruling laws of Mumbai’s mafia dons namely Arun Gawli, Chota Rajan, Dawood Ibrahim, Chota Shakeel and Abu Salem.

The film which also marks the debut of some sensational newcomers will release later this year and the first look of ‘Satya 2’ is as promising as the first one.
