For days we have been reading gupshup about the sequel of Abhishek Choubey’s ‘Ishqiya’; the latest version titled ‘Dedh Ishqiya’. Now of late the first picture of the much-awaited film is out in the web world. The still features the lead actors - Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi - in a very cheerful mood, on a scooter.

This second version of the 2010 hit ‘Ishqiya’ has been in talks for its exciting, fresh cast (except Naseeruddin and Warsi who will be reprising their earlier roles) and much spicy plot. The film got an interesting twist when Madhuri Dixit came on board along with Huma Qureshi, although audience were expecting Vidya Balan to be in the sequel as well.

What added more to the film’s anticipation are the love making scenes (surprisingly) featuring Madhuri and the veteran, Naseeruddin Shah. Going with the fact that Madhuri during her earlier times has not done much intimate scenes except few lip-locks; but nothing on sensational level as ‘Dedh Ishqiya’; where she is alleged to have shed her inhibitions and reflected hot chemistry with her much older co-star. Besides, Huma is also said to be seen getting intimate with Arshad.

Slated to release early next year, ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ is produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and co-produced by Shemaroo productions.
