With the release of Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Haunted 3D’ in 2011, the film not only hit the bull’s eye at the box office but also brought debutante Mahaakshay, Mithun Chakraborty’s son in the spotlight. Now talks are that the filmmaker is all set to bring the second version of the supernatural thriller but with all fresh cast this time.

Despite not being part of the sequel, which the producer-director is currently working on, Mahaakshay continues to hold his mentor in high regard. Remarked Mahaakshay, "Vikram is my saviour. Haunted 3D became successful and gave me a new position in the industry. I have had a great time working for the film and it is a great memory."

Talking about the sequel of Haunted 3D Vikram Bhatt said,"Haunted 2 should go on floors by the end of the year. But, it won’t have Mahaakshay. Instead, the sequel will have new actors."
