The bubbly Sonakshi Sinha is quite excited about her forthcoming Vikramaditya Motwane’s film ‘Lootera’. While the film is quite different from all the typical commercial films she has done so far, another factor worth mentioning is that this is the first time the actress gets to co-star with Ranveer Singh who is almost her age.

As a matter of fact, Sona so far has been seen with Salman Khan (Dabangg) or Akshay Kumar (Rowdy Rathore and Joker) but compared with them, for the first time in ‘Lootera’ she gets a younger hero, Ranveer. And what’s more... The pairing has been very well received and has garnered huge appreciation.

Hence Sonakshi, who is very excited to be paired against the hero of her same age, has decided to keep aside double the time for promotions. Instead of 20 days she is said to be allotting 40 days for promotion.

According to source close to Sonakshi, this time the actress will have a lot more time for promotions as it will be required. Ranveer and Sonakshi is expected to be seen promoting the film in an extensive way.

Talking about the film Sonakshi said, "When it comes to shooting, Lootera has been one of the most difficult experiences for me. The characters, looks, performances and locations are all from an era I knew nothing about. But when Vikramaditya showed me the trailer and some rushes, I felt the struggle was worth it."

She added, "I loved what I saw; this is probably my best performance so far."

‘Lootera’, a love story set in 50's, releases on 5th July.
