After ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, director Punit Malhotra is back on the director’s seat. The helmer reported to have started his next film under Karna Johar’s Dharma Productions, ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ - starring his earlier lead hero Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Punit, who is good friend with Imran and garnered success with IHLS, was asked by his fans as to when they will work together. And in answer to their queries had posted a pic of himself with the actor recently and tweeted, "And we are back:)"

The film recently went on floors in Goa, sans Kareena who is currently shooting for Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’. Updating about the development, producer Karan Johar had tweeted, "Our IMRAN-KAREENA starrer starts today...Gori Tere Pyaar Mein!!! Directed by @punitdmalhotra....#goriterepyaarmein".

Punit had also tweeted on behalf of Imran thus, "So for all those who are asking Imran to come back on twitter... Here's a message from him."

Imran had lasted worked with Kareena in Shakun Batra’s ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’.
