While he is eagerly waiting for his debut movie ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ (MDKM), Saqib Saleem has already bagged his next venture...

The young star from Delhi, even before the film’s release, has been able to grab attention of some important people of B-town. Buzz is that filmmaker Karan Johar who became impressed by Saqib’s work when he saw the rushes of MDKM, immediately felt of tapping the talent for his next venture. He was sure Saqib had a spunk and took him under his wings.

Karan reported to have signed Saqib for his next ‘Bombay Talkies’ and is mentoring him his way for Bollywood.

A source close to the actor revealed, "Saqib is part of not one but two films with big banners- YRF and Dharma Productions. Thus Karan has been showing keen interest in mentoring him for the promotions of MDKM."

Saqib will be making his media outing and thus asked Karan the do’s and don’t’s. Karan who is an ace mentor and gave Saqib tips on how he should not be conscious while giving interviews to the media and how he should present himself in public."

So far, Karan has given the Delhi boy a lot of valuable advice. "It is really sweet of him to help Saqib. For a new-comer who is a complete outsider, this is a great way to understand the industry better. Everyone has seen how well the debutants of Karan’s previous film did. Now, Saqib is looked at in exactly the same manner".

Yash Raj Films' MKDM will hit theatres on 15th March.
