After being seen in 'Race 2', John Abraham would be returning as a central protagonist in 'Shootout at Wadala'. Meanwhile is also working in 'Madras Cafe', yet another action affair, which reunites him with his 'Vicky Donor' director Shoojit Sircar.

Unlike the Ayushmann Khurrana flick where he was seen only in a promotional video, John plays a central protagonist in the film this time around.

"I will be very honest; the narrative and screenplay of 'Madras Cafe' is as international as any other international film and as commercial as any Hindi film", claims John, "What I want to do is build a bridge between us and the world. I want to tell them that 'Hey, we are presenting you all a film which is not just for Indian Diaspora but for everyone else as well.

I have a noble intention of making sure that everyone watches a Hindi film. I am proud to be part of this industry and whatever I do should be a representation of my country."

Quite a thought John, and a noble one at that. Now one waits to see it executed for the big screen and bring on the desired effect.
