Bachchan production house to handle Gujarati venture

Amitabh Bachchan's AB Corp will soon be producing a Gujarati project.

Titled 'Sapatapadii', the family drama will be directed by Niranjan Thade and star Swaroop Sampat and Manav Gohil in lead. The film revolves around a wife who goes against her husband’s wishes to help an orphan child. ‘Sapatapadii’ is expected to hit the screens on 1st Feb.

Earlier AB Corp, which had bannered the Abhishek-Vidya Balan starrer ‘Paa’, had ventured into other regional language by producing a Marathi film 'Vihir'.
