'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola' is all set to release on 11th January. However to add to the competition, Kamal Hassan's 'Vishwaroop' is taking the film heads on as well.

While it could well be a point to ponder for Vishal Bhardwaj and his team of Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma, what enhances competition is the fact that it is none other than Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms which is distributing the Hindi version of 'Vishwaroop'.

"Ekta is known for her marketing and promotional prowess and even the smallest of films coming from her are released with much fanfare. Now with a Kamal Hassan film in her kitty, she is going to go all out.

Of course there is a good likelihood that 'Matru...' would be the preferred film in most parts of the country but the challenge thrown by 'Vishwaroop' cannot be ignored", a source says.
